Background Info
Simon Toffanello is from the UK and has been living and working in Phnom Penh, Cambodia since 2002. He has covered a broad range of photography in the studio and on location as well as events, NGO and editorial assignments in the region.
After leaving high school Simon was trained as a black and white photographic darkroom technician. He later studied filmmaking and fine art at St Martins College of Art in London. On completion of his degree he went on to make award winning short films that played at film festivals around Europe and in the UK before returning to concentrate on stills photography. After a several months trip around SE Asia Simon relocated and has since settled in Cambodia.
